It may be cool, but Her Royal Highness ranks below Her Majesty, the
latter of which should be used when referring to a reigning queen. To
be fair, many commentators (even British ones) made the same mistake
when referring to Queen Elizabeth II during the Diamond Jubilee
celebrations a few years ago.
