Charles, I found that link interesting. Application Time Period tables... Worked with an application in which the pay rate table had a composite key of employee number and date. Made querying interesting. Think of getting a list of employees pay rates for your department. Especially if someone keyed in a pay rate adjustment coming up in the future.
