1) What do you mean by the "remote chip"?
2) I access the HMC remotely via browser, or are you referring to a different remote access?
3) Our HMC has dedicated monitor, keyboard, no kvm needed.
4) If you had a choice of burning the DVD or using the images on an FTP Server, which method would you use?

Yes, our KVM's are remotely accessible. Recently upgraded models as old models were freaking out due to newer levels of Java and browsers.
Something to keep in mind if one starts thinking about adding a KVM especially with some used ones going cheap on ebay. There's a reason...
