It's June 1999, and Joe (who is a COBOL programmer), is getting fed up with
Y2K fixes, so he decides to have himself frozen until May 2001 when he
thinks that all of the Y2K issues will be over and he can go back to normal
maintenance programming.
Some time passes, and he hears a voice saying "CAN YOU UNDERSTAND ME??".
Well, he is puzzled by this, as only 2 years should have elapsed since he
"went to sleep", but he answers that yes, he understands the speaker.
The speaker then tells him that there was a problem with the timer, and it
is now May 9999.
Joe is now very puzzled, and asks why he was woken up at all.
The speaker tells him that the reason is that on his resume, it states that
he knows COBOL!!
