I am suspicious that the error is more complex than it appears. And
quite possibly has nothing to do with the date window.
Most y2k fixes that allowed the 1940-2039 window would have quite
happily printed that next payment date as 1940-06-17. This program
didn't. Very odd.
Additionally, June is 6 months into 2040. Why didn't the 2040-05-17 due
date bring a hard halt?
