The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

Guess I’d better get into this gmane stuff. Probably just in time for some new improved something to emerge to replace it.
If you're happy with email you don't need to change anything.
The recent flurry of activity is for those of us who use NNTP instead of
email. I particularly like NNTP because TBird doesn't interrupt me 45
times a day with an alert telling me I have something new to look at. I
look at TBird when I get a break in my flow and all the new messages are
easily viewed.
For those who prefer NNTP, here are my Thunderbird settings:
The account name is news.gmane.org
Name is whatever you choose to be publicly known as.
Email address must match the email with which you signed up at midrange.com.
Server settings are mostly the defaults... news.gmane.org port 119 No
connection security, check for messages as frequently as you care to.
I use Gmail for my outgoing email, so the Outgoing SMTP server is
smtp.googlemail.com with my email and password, port 587, STARTTLS,
normal password. Other email providers should have a page describing
their POP3 or IMAP setups for an email client like Thunderbird.
