That's been my thought. Here is the output:

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 8545798 Nov 3 12:23 libcwbcore.so
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 5416205 Nov 3 12:23 libcwbodbc.so
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 194469 Nov 3 12:23 libcwbodbcs.so

The permissions are set exactly like they are for /usr/lib. Already changed those.

That feels like an authority issue with the files/directories.. Have you
checked that?

Subject: Ubuntu Server VM

I have been trying to get IBM i Client Access ODBC driver working on Ubuntu
64-bit 14.04 and I cannot get it to work. This is the message that has me
stuck:

"Can't open lib '/opt/ibm/iaccess/lib64/libcwbodbc.so' : file not found"

Seems it is finding my DSN but it says it cannot find find the library.
The problem is, the files are there. I've tried copying them to /usr/lib
per several suggestions and it got me no where. The read permissions are
there, besides, if I do "sudo isql" I get the same error. It is almost as
if these files are in the wrong format, but I used the .deb package, which
is right for Ubuntu.

Below is my log output and my ini files. The odbcinst.ini is how the
package installer made it, but I added the lines for logging at the top to
try and get me information to no avail.
