The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

There is a parameter in the CPYSRCF command entitled SRCCHGDATE that
controls if the new member has the same date as the original or a new one.
I would guess your old box had a different command default from the new one.

Subject: Change date & time for source member copied to a new file
Since starting in this new shop a few months ago, I found that copying a
source member from one source file to another results in the member's
Change date & time (observable via WRKMBRPDM option 8 "Display Member
Description") to be set to current system date & time, so that it matches
the Creation date & time. In my previous shop, also at v7.1, doing this
would result in the copied source member keeping the same Change date &
time as the original.
Is this a configurable thing? A PTF? I've found it to be useful to have
copied source members retain the Change date & time from the original
member.
