I noticed the total number of Active jobs were up by several hundred jobs.
After researching, I found that the increase was due to service jobs.
I also concluded the various requests, (Convert Spool File) from OpsNav were the reason.
And that each request for the same user started a new job.
A single user accounted for 300 to 400 of these jobs
Is this normal behavior?
I would have thought the same job would have been used repeatedly for the same user.
Or, are there system settings that control the behavior of these jobs?
I also discovered that when either signs off or shutdown, these jobs then do auto cleanup and disappear.
