There's always the possibility, and not just a small possibility, that the
view ptf_info is a wrapper for that API. I suspect many of the UDTF's are
wrappers for various APIs.

I think I'll stick with the SQL wrapper though. Seems much simpler. I
suppose if I was in the "if it ain't broke don't fix it crowd" and rarely
(if ever) put on PTFs then I might use it.
