[COMMON - A Users Group] There is STILL time to save for the 2015 Annual...

I thought this was worth forwarding to the group, as the early bird discount expires in 2 weeks, so if you register now you can save an additional $200. There will be many from this list speaking at the event, some of the vendors on this list will be exhibiting at the event, and many of the participants of this list attending. It’s always good to put a face with a name. I know I will be there, so if you are as well, please introduce yourself.

COMMON = Education, Networking, and Fun. I have said this many times before, the value of attending COMMON way exceeds the cost, and is a great investment in your career. As current President of COMMON, sure I have a bias on which conference to attend, but you need to be going to one major IBM i conference a year. You need to be investing in yourself, learning about the new technology, finding out what is changing, and meeting other people in our industry. I have learned so much over the years going to COMMON and local user groups. One of the easiest ways to start investing in yourself is to support your local user group each month by attending, it’s a win-win situation. It grows your local group, but also increases your knowledge. We solve our problems with midrange-l, but we learn the best at in-person events.
