The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
It's an issue between Winblows & the OS. Mixed case passwords are a major
pain but here's a link to some info from IBM

Subject: Mapped drive on iSeries
Sent by: "MIDRANGE-L" <midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx>
We use a directory on the IFS to write various files to. The folder is in
a share on the root. The users who need these files have a mapped drive.
We changed our password rules for windows to include mandatory upper/lower
case. iSeries does not have this rule (yet, I'm still pushing). Since
then, we have had nothing but problems with the users with mapped drives.
They can't get to them.
I however, have not changed my password yet and still access my mapped
drive. I am also operating under an older version of Client Access. The
people who cannot access have the newer 7.1 version.
Is this a Client Access issue ? or the disconnect in the passwords ?
Thanks,
Cyndi B.
