I just now posted a delayed response to Glenn having called-out something similar [but more open to interpretation than the above scenario]. <http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l/201502/msg00470.html> As I alluded there, the logical conclusion is that the presentation of anything other than the intuitively correct value for the /SQL long name/ would seem to be a defect with the output of that system-supplied UDTF. No, there would seem to be no logical reason [other than a defect] that the /long name/ presented for ObjLongName would be anything other than the long name assigned by the SQL CREATE [or RENAME] statement.
