When I did some fun logon screens, I couldn't remove the input fields... I
had to hide (no display) and protect them. The trick was to keep them in
the same sequence from top to bottom, left to right. I typically moved
them to the bottom line. As long as you can "tab" the fields in the same
original sequence... you're good.
