Old tech solution for existing reports.
Buy a spool file to pdf/html creator. Create a wrapper command/pgm to
accept/ask for a report name, pdf or html option, optional user, option to
display now and call pdf/html creator. Call it after the report is
complete.
The command/pgm
Retrieves the last spool file - was a bit more difficult if multiple spool
files were created.
find the user home directory
put the report there
created an index to it.
If display now, put up a green screen with a link you could click on to
open a window and display the report.
Other option to browse the reports in your home directory and click on the
link of the one you want to view.
I know - should have learned java. Some day .....
