I have migrated stand alone systems to be guested lpars by using
save/restore.

I'm not sure about the disk migration that one person talked about. Never
thought of a guested lpar having a combination of both guested and
physical disk and doing that kind of a disk migration. Not sure if that
would save you any time over save/restore. Interesting out of the box
thought though.

When you do that kind of migration will it cause you a lot of issues with
items such as your SRM?
