The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
I don't use SNDPTFORD. I use the IBM web site, and download via FTP.
The weirdest part was that after I noticed the not installed status, I tried
doing the PTF's again. They got to a certain point, and just got hung up.
All activity stopped.

When you do the SNDPTFORD did you do REORDER(*NO), the default?
I know you say you keep them in sync but if 2 was missing something 1 had
then 2 might have been missing a prereq or coreq.
What you really need to do is find out why. The normal steps are
GO LICPGM
50
and,
WRKJOB SCPF
and look at that joblog.
