Rob,

The V7R1 SQL Reference Manual shows, under the SYSINDEXES view entry, the
following columns:

----------------------------------------------------
INDEX_HAS_SEARCH_CONDITION: If the index has a search condition:
SEARCH_CONDITION_HAS_UDF: If the index search condition contains a
user-defined function:
SEARCH_CONDITION: If the index is sparse, contains the search condition.

INDEX_HAS_INCLUDE_EXPRESSION : If the index contains an INCLUDE clause:
INCLUDE_EXPRESSION :If the index has an INCLUDE clause, contains the list
of INCLUDE expressions.

----------------------------------------------------

So I suppose that the SQL angle is covered (sorry, in the dark ages so I
can't verify this)

For non SQL files you could do a DSPFD with an outfile:
DSPFD FILE(mylib/*ALL)
TYPE(*SELECT)
OUTPUT(*OUTFILE)
FILEATR(*LF)
OUTFILE(mylib/outfile)

Regards,

Luis
