The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

We must differentiate between different types of people:
- the ones who want to do more than just programming RPG, SQL and co. They want to know about system installation, operating system tweaks and configs etc. This might be done in the cloud. We have several customers who have their own network in our DC including HMC etc - but pricing will not be as cheap as grabbing used hardware.
- the hardcore ones - building their own DC as you wrote about. They must have all that hardware on their premises. If you have a customer who can provide a lab for you - great :)
