Hi Bon

I was thinking of the web-based Navigator - that's the stated direction for Navigator - the windows one is not going to be enhanced - not sure it'll completely go away, though.

Hi Vern,

I tried to use Navigator for i, for similar purposes. Sometimes it
worked, sometimes not, plus there were some CPU consuming Java related
jobs. It is good to know that from V7R2 System i Navigator will
disappear.

Bon

I'm wondering if there is something in the IBM i Navigator browser-based
tools - I'm not involved in the hardware or performance side much these
days, so I'm not sure.

Of course, this all has some dependence on what OS version you're
working with.
