Paul,

We installed SF99711 (included SF99707 TR9) on a single LPAR, HMC managed,
vintage Power5 with no issues. Prior to install, 7.1 was VERY current
(C4143710 & TR8) and required a simple 30 minute IPL. Machine's primary
use is outbound email, FTP, CPYTO/FRM data conversions, light SQL, and
ZendServer 6 sandbox. Hope that helps... C4283710 goes on this weekend.
