Alan,

Most of my code (or, at least, the serious stuff) is open source. It's okay to give away quick/simple/trivial stuff in discussion groups as public domain, but for anything more serious, I would definitely make it open source... public domain would not be a good idea there, imho.

Anyways...

I think I did publish a copy of this service program once as part of an article. There have probably been many fixes/updates since then, however, and I haven't published any updates.
