Where are you getting the PDF from? Are you generating it or does it
already exist?

If you're generating it, say from a spool file, then I'd look at a tool
that can convert spool files to HTML and email as an attachment or the
message body. I've used Brad Stone's MAILTOOL/SPLTOOL for this myself.
http://www.bvstools.com/download.html

If the PDF already exists, it's going to be more difficult. Not sure if
you'll find a PDF to HTML converter you can run on the IBM i. You may be
able to port an open source project...

I for one wouldn't want to try writing my own (well I'd like to try it, but
there no way I could justify the time it would take from my regular
business coding.)

Maybe Brad, with his experience with PDF output, will jump in here with
some ideas.

I have a request to take what is currently in a attachment, a PDF, and
place the graphics, text etc directly in the email. So no attachment.
Anyone done this directly from the iSeries? Are we going to need a Third
Party Product or ??

Thanks
