Yes, we used to have a system that we used to save/restore one file
because the disk didn't have enough space to do a reorg of it.
Some vendor supplied EDI history file.
Had to reorg on another system.
But that was many years ago.
I appreciate the information on extents and stuff. Tempered with the wide
variety of performance difference you are seeing with just that one
customer on different lpars.
