Hi.. all of the uploading, etc is being done within the "green screen" she
logs in as g092KMB, essentially we have a listing program for parts, etc..
and it gets uploaded in a .dat file format into her lists (folder) within
her library. All the other users are set up exactly the same way near as I
can tell, but something is missing. Permissions all seem right where they
need to be.

How are you uploading the files? Are you using IBM i Access for Windows
file transfer? FTP, a NetServer share, a NFS share, Excel built in file
transfer?

Is her Windows user id the same as her IBM i user id?

Is her password in Windows the same as her password on IBM i? Or are you
getting prompted and entering her IBM i userid and password there?

If she is not getting prompted for her IBM i userid and password, then it is
probably using her Windows credentials. If so, is her Windows password
either all caps or all lower case? Mixed case passwords can cause an issue.

I've been trying to find a solution to this error. We have a bit of a
unique system, we are a piping company, I am the new IT guy, learning AS
400, and this error is the last of the config errors I have to work
through.

The problem is, the library owner and all the objects in it are assigned
properly to her. She both owns them and has full access to them, yet we
continue to get this error when we try to upload to that list. They are
.dat

files that get put into her library called G092KMB, and within the library

there are two objects "Lists" and "Printout", both of type *File. (More
like

folders I assume.)

Our "Programmer" is now gone, and he's helped me get this far, and he
suggested I transfer ownership to this user which I have successfully
done,
but I still get this error, no matter what I try. If you can't see the
screen shot in

this forum the error is a CPF2207 not authorized to use object LISTS
library
G092KMB type *FILE
