From "My Computer", I can see a foldwe named REMIT835. I have a drive
letter associated with it as well, so can do a DOS DIR. I can create a
file, and delete the file.
This was created years ago. Been working until last week. User at other
end got Windows 7 box.
Tech on other end mapped the drive to a drive letter. Tech used a user
profile with full rights to the folder.
Tech can see the folder. Can also read. Just can't create a new file.
Tech gets "access denied".
I don't know if this is like other issues that have been encountered.
Can't remember specifics of past issues.
Gets even more confusing, for me. The file share is defined as
\\qs1015362a\REMIT835. From WRKLNK, I can't find the directory. But, it
is visible with Windows.
When I looked for it using Navigator, it was there. It also showed read
only checked. I unchecked that box. Still remote user can't write a file.
This is terminal v5r4.
Can somebody clarify this for me?
Thanks.
