We use Alliance FTP Manager from Patrick Townsend. It's a whole suite for FTP Management including security to control who can log in to the FTP server.

There are also API's for establishing FTP within your application.
Supports SFTP, FTPS, and yes standard FTP.

My boss is searching for a commercial product we can use to manage our FTP
Primary requirements are:
* iSeries friendly
*supports detail FTP error detection: for example we want to know if the connection
is successful and be able to re-try/re-schedule if not
*supports 'standard' FTP: the main site we send/receive with does not use SFTP
We have Arpeggio on our list: but it seems exclusively for SFTP ?
We also have Linoma Software on our list: any comments ?
