Ok, here's the workaround.
Varying off and on the session is not it. Well, not if you try that
before you get the dst login.
So, after you do the dst login, and you see the regular sign on screen,
and you log in and it stays stuck at input inhibited, go to a non console
session and vary off/on the console. Now you can log in and it will do
something.
Going to be one of those things where I will have to trap on both the HMC
and the system. Going to be a real hoot - not. PMR opened.
Doesn't matter if 7.1 or 7.2
Doesn't matter if 8.8.1 hmc has sp1 or not.
Doesn't matter if console is DSP01... or QCONSOLE.
Just when you thought console take over was the bee's knees and started it
on most of your lpars...
