It's the SYSTABLE view which tells what kind of file is used.
If you want to know whether a column is found in a physical, logical file or
SQL table or view, you may join both views together.

Betreff: Embedded SQL question
Hello all,
I'd like to ask a followup question. I know the SYSCOLUMNS table shows
logical and physical files. I can't seem to locate a field that would tell
me which is which. Does one exist?
Bill
