I was thinking the same thing.with internal storage, I'm not convinced.
This is getting even more into the category of "Why VIOS?" Since IBM
i can virtualize so well now the only real solid tangible benefit to
supporting yet another OS is virtualization of Tape Library devices
and to a lesser extent Ethernet. IBM i is so much easier, (for us i
guys anyway) and there are few if any real restrictions I can cite
except that of the tape library virtualization. I'll stipulate that
with NPIV disk management it a bit easier since 90% of that is done on
the SAN, and that if SAN is the storage that might be the way to go, but
