If you haven't changed the job to log CL commands do so. Then look at the job logs for any DSPJOBLOG commands. Logging at LOG(4 0 *SECLVL) will also help.

Mark,

Same job on production LPAR does not wrap, only 1 joblog.
Logging is set the same on both LPARS.

Logging level is:

Message logging:
Level . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : 4
Severity . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : 0
Text . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : *MSG
Log CL program commands . . . . . . . . . . . . . : *YES
Job log output . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : *JOBEND

Creation times for the joblogs are every 21 seconds.
There is no overlap.
The beginning and end time of each message does not match the creation time of the QPJOBLOG.
Only the final 159 spoolfile matches.
The final joblog is 62 times larger (5,164 pages) then 2 thru 158 (81 pages)

Paul:

If you look at a sampling of those 159 separate job log spool files, each message in a job log normally has a date and time stamp. Do these smaller job logs "overlap" based on the date/time stamps of hte messages, or not? What about when you look at the last, large job log?
Does that job log start with the beginning of the job, and "overlap"
some or all of the other smaller job log listings?

Normally, only one joblog is created for a job.
Some jobs have multiple joblogs being created.
Is there a system, profile, job, etc setting that would cause this?
In one instance 159 joblogs were created for a single batch job, each about 80 pages, or 584k.
The final joblog is 5,164 pages, 32,792k.
