I recently did an upgrade of a 3rd party product.
RSTOBJ was specified as ALWOBJDIF(*FILELVL *OWNER)
4 PF objects were restored, 1 was not.
Changed the RSTOBJ ALWOBJDIF(*ALL)
The missing object was restored, but the 4 that were restored previously were renamed ***0001.
I normally always use ALWOBJDIF(*ALL), but there are cases that will required different options.
In the case above, the record length of the files was different, deleted the one file, ALWOBJDIF(*FILELVL *OWNER)

Thanks Paul!
I took your hint and did a little reading of cmd help and used ALWOBJDIF *FILELVL and that worked.
RSTOBJ also took care of the dependent Logical (I had specified ACCPTH *YES on the SAVOBJ)

Does the file already exist on LPAR2, based on the message I assume it does.
Either delete the file first on LPAR2 or ALWOBJDIF *all.

Subject: Restore from LPAR1 to LPAR2
I saved FILEA on LPAR1 to a save file on LPAR1 which I then shipped to LPAR2.
Both LPAR show V7R1M0 on Display Installed Lic. Pgm.
When I attempt to restore FILEA from the save file I get:
CPF3283 - Saved file or member level ID not same as file FILEA.
FILEA is MAXMBRS *NOMAX with 1 member.
DSPFFD shows 49E5C8016C0CE on LPAR1 and 2 I'm sure I can restore after deleting FILEA from LPAR2, but: What am I missing ?
