So have not seen anything, but to the sshd server at v7.1 all that is needed is to
"strtcpsvr *sshd"
One thing to keep in mind is to use a usrprf that is 8 or less characters in length.

Not sure about the uncompress issue but I know I've used on many v7.1 systems.

Also trying to uncompress the expect and tcl scripts (Scott Klement's
iprodeveloper article 2008)

$ uncompress tcl.8.4.9.tar.z
/QOpenSys/usr/bin/-sh: $: not found.

The redpaper for this is 2006

Where does one start? Goal right now is sftp (password authentication (not
key).
