We have a webserver running on our IBM i (have had for years), running
without issue. Feeling the urge to update some documentation, I figured I'd
take a look at the various pages related to the server configuration by
going thru
http://myIP:2001.
I've started the *admin server by using strtcpsvr *http httpsvr(*admin),
like I have dozens of times before expecting to be able to access the weba
dmin page via the browser. Instead, when trying to get to the page via IE
or Chrome, I'm getting this:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable
to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them
of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may
have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
What??
I've checked the qezjoblog entries, but there's really nothing there that
points me anywhere; likewise dsplog - nothing. When the strtcpsvr *admin
command runs, several ADMIN jobs start, then after a couple of seconds a
bunch of them go away leaving only three ADMIN jobs in the QHTTPSVR
subsystem (along with the other non-admin webserver jobs).
To my knowledge, the only change has been to install CGIDEV2 software (last
week sometime). It works without complaint, as does our normal everyday
webserver.
Any ideas on what to look for, how to go about debugging my inability to
open a web admin page?
