When you create a procedure it should create an ILE C program in the
library.
CRTLIB ROBSQL
STRSQL
create procedure
robsql/testsql ( In question int,
Out answer int)
Language sql
Begin
set answer = question +1;
End
Procedure TESTSQL was created in ROBSQL.
WRKOBJ ROBSQL/*ALL
Object Type Library Attribute Text
TESTSQL *PGM ROBSQL CLE SQL PROCEDURE TESTSQL
You can also see it 'registered' by
SELECT * FROM SYSPROCS WHERE SPECIFIC_SCHEMA = 'ROBSQL'
Now, I can
SAVOBJ OBJ(TESTSQL) LIB(ROBSQL) DEV(*SAVF) OBJTYPE(*PGM) SAVF(ROB/ROB)
ftp it to other machine
telnet to other machine
crtlib robsql
rstobj testsql robsql dev(*savf) savf(rob/rob)
strsql
SELECT * FROM SYSPROCS WHERE SPECIFIC_SCHEMA = 'ROBSQL'
and see it registered there also.
It may work differently for procedures based off of other languages than
SQL Procedure language (SPL).
But I've got to get to work on real stuff.
