I don't have access to my VIOS right now, but i guess a lsdev -vpd
(sintaxis may vary) would be what you're after. AIX doesnt have a nice rack
config like IBM i's but it works (after some parsing with grep+awk you get
a nice list with serials and fru, when avaiable).
In any case that would get you the info on THAT partition, not the whole
rack, besides if you want detailed info like which LUN are mapped where you
need something like the lsmap command and parse it. i think there is an
script called mapluns.sh on the internet which does that (needs to be run
from an AIX shell or you have to install stuff in the VIOS for it to run
properly)...
