Hello,

Just in case anyone else uses IBM Web server Search Engine and has to
migrate to V6 or up, I've found this alternative:
https://www.google.com/cse/

Basic version includes some nice features (autocomplete, audits,
translation, sort by relevance or date, image and doc searches), but miss
others (order of preferences and fully automatic indexing).

Automatic indexing is the worst, you can't get a new page to Google's index
fast, there's always a delay.

There are several similar versions and codes, it's free (with adds) or paid
(starts at US$ 100/year).

Thanks

Rubens

Omnifind includes that functionality I think.

It's included free at 6.1 and 7.1

Hi,

We are migrating from V5R4 to V7R1 and found that "IBM Web server
Search Engine" is no longer supported by IBM.

1. Does someone find a way to migrate and use it on V7R1, even without
support?

2. Are there other options available to replace it?

Any comments would be extremely welcomed!

Thank you very much.
