RE: hmc remote console share - timeouts

"If" you have a properly shared console set up and you're running some
long process (like a full system save) and you suspect it's hung (man,
this should be on library x of y by now) then you can 'disconnect' and
'connect' again without penalty. The process will not abort. I have
noticed this a few times.

We have installed a Keyboard/Video/Mouse (not Kernel Virtual Machine!)
with remote capability at one location to give us remote capability to
start the shared session. We all detest using the KVM on a regular basis
but it is useful for starting the local shared session.
