04/23/2014 07:12:28 Index update process shutdown

Power 8

Same lpar.
Same Domino partition

I don't know what sort of functionality that RPG program has; if it's an
API you can almost certainly code it in CL. As an aside, it might have
been easier to use Notepad to enter the source, FTP it from the PC to
the V4 machine and then CPYF to a source member. Saves the laborious
cut & paste issue.

Anybody have a 6385-001 tape drive?

Just looked in the grave yard, don't have one. Are you looking for a
drive, or do you want to convert an old SAVLIB to something you can read?

That program doesn't work on that machine. The vendor sent a save file with
a program fix. He's been told now to send me the source code to copy and
paste, and I'll fix it myself.

FTP doesn't work. Some moke decided to remove the FTP exit point programs,
and IBM's instructions to re-add them don't work.

This is a vendor package bug, so they're looking for a tape drive. I've
washed my hands of the issue.

By the way, it's running 7.1 with an early TR8. Not even running 7.2.

FTP, Client Access file transfer, Code/400 source transfer, write your
own listener on port 21 - you get the idea.

washed my hands of the issue.

My suggestion is moot. Maybe ideas for the archives...
