Is that perhaps used with the STRDBRDR command? I've never really used that, but it seems like a simple way to GENERATE (on the fly) a batch script. Sort of a "Interpreted CL" -vs- "Compiled CL".

From memory: I think that type was used as a "script" to be "played interactively" . . . never used by me so that is all I know.

Wasn't there a weird member type of CL? Not CLP, or CLLE, but just CL?

I need to apply a large amount of hypers to a 3rd party application.
The fixes are sent to us via word doc.
These will applied on test system, multiple times.
We delete/restore the entire test system, (when data gets old), reapply the upgrades, then apply the hypers.
Normally, this list is small, and I copy/paste, run the commands one at a time.
However, this set of fixes is quite large, below is a small sample of the fixes.

The IC8270PGMS library name in the example below will need to change.
I was thinking of either a CLP, or maybe a CL , (no need to compile), or AJS job, or possibly some other method.
Pros/Cons of different methods,
1) need to see a good job log,
2) probably should stop if an error occurs, take corrective action.
3) Possible restart capabilities Any thoughts from the group.
