There are some MIMIX RTV* commands that I use that might help. Check these out:
RTVAPYSTS
RTVDGSTS
RTVRJLNK
RTVSYSSTS
You can also use the WRKDG command and output the results to a database file that you could query or examine.

We use Mimix to replicate Prod and ProdBU (BackUp).
Data groups are started and stopped throughout the week.
While the main data group is stopped, we run SAVE and PURGE jobs on both Prod and ProdBU boxes.
Is there a method on each box to interrogate the status of a Mimix datagroup on EITHER box?
