The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
We have been running websphere on our system for many years. I don't think we ever had a problem with it.

By "native" I mean not in a partition running linux. Running in a partition of i OS V7.1 What made me ask was this
https://www.jaspersoft.com/supported-platforms I don't see anything listed except Linux and AIX as a supported OS. If does show Websphere as the application server which is good.

... strange idea (IMHO) running the gag-feature linux on as/400 in production. Following the provided link, they are talking about "reference"
operating systems (meaning: evaluated with)and in the final note "Jaspersoft is 100% pure Java, so should work in any Java 1.5 or 1.6 environment." you will find your as400, as it meets the requirements. But, on the other hand, running it in a p-partition should be less expensive for comparable performance and the support options might be better. Regarding the AppServer environments, I would not recommend WebSphere on AS/400, it doesn't have enough real production environments to be stable (just my experience)...
