Rob,

Thanks for the info. As it turns out this is exactly what was wrong. We did
a hardware upgrade a couple of weeks ago and the issue we were having the
files in /tmp started right after the upgrade. The "Restricted rename and
unlink" box was checked for the /tmp folder. I had our program manager
uncheck the box and everything seems to be back to normal.
