DUPTAP outside BRMS

You may not want to do that.
I believe when you expire the tape, if you have any detail history of what is on the tape, that gets erased at the same time that you change the status to "Expired".
(You are effectively declaring the tape to what us old-timers call a "Scratch Tape".)
Can anyone verify this for me ?
