The server is in burlington, NC. I am in illinois so it is difficult for my
to fix it myself, but my coworker could probably follow directions to
replace it if I could find the correct pdf.

I think it is 9405-520/ I Series Model 520 Express/ Serial# 10-DC71E

It is running v6r1m0.

On the disk it says FC-4326 and CCIN-4326, so I went ahead and ordered a
35gb disk thats IBM 4326-9406 from flagship technologies.

Thank again,
Michael

Thanks,
Michael

Michael,

It would also help to include Operating System version, disk drive
model/type/capacity, and geographic location so that others may provide
options...

Is this a 9406-520 (Power 5) or a 8203-E4A (Power 6)? Both are 520's.

Subject: replacing a failed hard disk in an as400e series 520

One of the hard disks in our raid array failed, so now our drives are
running in unprotected mode. I called a local tech and they want like
$5000
for a hardware and software maintenance plan, which seems a big
excessive.
Do you know where I can find the documentation on how to replace it for a
520? I have found it for different model numbers, but not for the one we
have.
