I do the TR with other groups all the time and have not had any issues yet.

So, the technology refresh SF99707 is also part of SF99711...has anyone had issues with SF99707 loading with all the grpptf's together? Just making sure.
Thanks, Frank

From the cover letter for that PTF;

============

When group PTF SF99711 is ordered for R710, the related groups that are not
applicable (ptfs defined for not-installed
products), are not being created on the requested partition. Therefore when
WRKPTFGRP is issued, SF99711 shows a status of
Unknown due to one or more of the related PTF groups being not found on the
system.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE56438 :
-----------------------------
SNDPTFORD was changed to ensure that all PTF groups listed in a group PTF
are loaded on the system.

===========

Because it interacts with WRKPTFGRP I would load it. Is there a reason not
to?

For the SF99711 PTF, Dawn May has a very recent article that points to a
required PTF. You have to have PTF SI51438 applied before using the
SNDPTFORD command. Her article can be found at:

Hi Folks, what's the consensus on installing grpptf's using SF99711? Any
issues, recommendations, problems or gotcha's that you can share about
using SF99711 instead of installing single grpptf's?
Thanks, Frank
