If using the EBCDIC Code Page 37, then use the hex-input key
immediately followed by the digit six followed by another digit six;
IIRC, the à character should appear directly, where the cursor is
positioned. If using an emulator, typically one would choose to map a
key sequence to that character if there is not already a key-sequence
defined, to ease entry of that character.
