Hi Luis,

Another option I will try that.

Thank you,

Subject: Re: Upgrading from V5R4 to 7.1. Java Classic to IT4J

Mark,

"Googling" a little, I found the following  IBM Systems Magazine article:
IBM Technology for Java on V6R1
http://www.ibmsystemsmag.com/ibmi
/developer/java/IBM-Technology-for-Java-on-V6R1/?page=2

In the "page" number 2 you can find the following info:
******
In V6R1, the default JVM is IBM Technology for Java 5.0 (32-bit). To choose
another JVM version, set the JAVA_HOME environment variable. For example,
to run the 64-bit JVM with Java SE 6.0 JDK, do one of the following:

From the command prompt or in CL:

ADDENVVAR ENVVAR(JAVA_HOME) VALUE('/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/JavaVM
/jdk60/64bit')
******

Maybe you would like to change your default JVM and run again your
programs, to see what happens.

Regards,
Luis
