In addition to all the good advice you've gotten from Dr. F &
Rob, I suggest two additional items to check.
First, via System Service Tools, option 3. Work with Disk,
option 2. Work with disk configuration, option 8. Work with
device parity protection, option 7. Select parity optimization
you want to see
The current parity optimization is: Performance
I suspect this will be the case based on you having said the
existing drives show 126.9 GB size, but better safe than sorry.
