There is some function of the system which will show you what type of
console it is. Something about 65 + 21 comes to mind. Don't just try
those but it may jar a memory cell or a google search.

If you have access to their DNS you may try searching for HMC and keeping
your fingers crossed that they named it that or at least beginning with
that. Our HMC controlled system console, at least on one lpar, is called
DSP01. Now, there's nothing locking it into that and it varies widely
based on QDEVNAMING and how much time your sysadmin has on his hands and
likes to rename devices. There's also nothing in DSPDEVD to indicate it's
IP address, or console type.
